HELEN BLACK MILLER MEMORIAL CHAPEL RENTAL

The Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel is offered to the public for use as a wedding chapel, musical hall, or for an appropriate one-time event as part of the operations of the Mercer County Historical Society.  The chapel is a beautiful spot for an intimate wedding or recital. It holds approximately 100 guests, tightly seated, and also has a piano and organ available for use.  The Society is a private nonprofit organization and offers the Chapel strictly as a public service.  Fees associated with rental of the Chapel help pay the Chapel staff and partially meet the expenses associated with Chapel utilities.  It is the hope of the Historical Society that renters, their guests, and other Chapel patrons will enjoy the unique atmosphere offered. 

The following fees are charged for renting the chapel. For all events a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required before a date will be reserved.

A)        Weddings (including a rehearsal), approximately five hour’s time:  $125.

B)        Weddings (without rehearsal), approximately three hour’s time:  $100.

C)        Use of kitchen facilities after wedding or rehearsal, two hours additional time: $50.

D)        Special Events—by arrangement with the staff.
